Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Budjetly iOS app ("the App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

The service

Budjetly is a personal budget-tracking app that lets you log expenses and income, set category budgets, and view spending breakdowns. The App offers a free tier and an optional paid "Pro" subscription that unlocks additional features.

Your account

Budjetly uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and for activity that occurs under your account.

Subscriptions, trials, and payments

Budjetly Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription and as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Purchases are processed by Apple and are also subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the App lawfully and not to misuse it, including by attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, interfere with, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems, or by using it in any way that violates applicable law.

Your content

The financial information you enter belongs to you. Budjetly stores it locally and, where enabled, in your own iCloud account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for maintaining your own backups where appropriate.

Not financial advice

Budjetly is a tool for tracking and organizing your own finances. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and any budget figures it calculates are informational only. Decisions you make based on the App are your own responsibility.

Intellectual property

The App, including its design, interface, branding, name, and underlying code, is owned by Budjetly and protected by intellectual-property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use. This does not grant you the right to copy, modify, resell, or create derivative works from the App without written consent.

Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We aim to keep the App available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Budjetly is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
